Bonefolder made from Victorian Hand Fan (3")

15.00

My mother sent me a broken-down hand fan that once belonged to my grandmother. It was beyond repair, but it was bone and covered with amazing hand carving and detail, it needed to be turned in to something.

These folders are made from damaged fans I’ve found since noticing the fine craftsmanship lavished on the one from my grandmother. They are small, fairly thin folders good for delicate work only. Probably made from cow bone. This 3” folder is the second from the bottom in the group shot of various sizes. You are purchasing one folder.
