Equal parts luxury and utility, my favorite ratio. Offered in a geometric or daisy weave.

A towel made from jacquard-woven, 100% European linen. At first the fabric is so stiff and flat, but upon the first washing the texture really pops up! I use my towels for hand drying, of course, all that texture makes it very absorbent, but also to protect work that I wish to keep clean in my dusty shop (like when I am sewing the Lake Michigan Rocks wrapped in white parchment- see photo), plus it looks nice laying around in the chaos that is my studio. No, this is not a towel for wiping down presses, or cleaning up spills when changing the oil in the snowblower, or say, sopping up half a jar of permanent dark purple leather dye one may have recently dumped all over the concrete floor. No, this is your good towel.

Expect significant shrinkage as well as the fabric goes from 2D to 3D during that first wash. After first wash the size will be around 12’’ x 24’’. Two edges are serged, the other two are hemmed, there is a ribbon loop for hanging.

Machine wash, line dry (or machine dry, but I prefer the line dried texture).
